- A blender (for optimal creaminess) a milk frother also works
- Optional: Sweeteners like stevia, or honey (to taste)
You don’t have to add the collagen or the mushroom powder but those step turns it from delicious coffee into a legitimate super food drink.
If your lactose free or vegan, you can swap the grass fed butter for coconut oil.
Method 1: Blender for Bulletproof Cold Brew Coffee
- Start with your freshly prepared cold brew mushroom coffee concentrate. If you've made a large batch, you can store it in the refrigerator for future use.
- Heat your butter or ghee and MCT or coconut oil gently until it's melted and hot but not boiling.Do the same for your coffee. This makes mixture warm and blendable. This seems counterintuitive but we ice again after! (don't ice if you want hot coffee :)
- In a blender, combine the hot melted butter or ghee with the MCT oil or coconut oil.
- Add your premium grass fed quality collagen and your Daily Zen 6 blend mushroom powder now
- Pour your cold brew coffee concentrate into the blender. If you're using sweeteners, add them to taste at this stage.
- Secure the blender lid and blend the mixture on high for about 20-30 seconds until it's frothy and well combined. This blending process emulsifies the fats into the coffee, creating a creamy texture.
- If you want to make your coffee a tasty frappe add ice here and re blend.

- Heat your butter or ghee gently until it's melted and hot but not boiling. Do the same with your coconut or MCT oil.
- Heat your coffee in the same way, we suggest on the stove.
- Transfer your coffee to your favorite mug

- Submerge a hand frother into the coffee while simultaneously pouring the hot fat-oil mixture into the coffee.
